Kurt explained the issues he was having and Carl offered assistance as he had experience modifying his own guitars in the past. Well Carl was persistent and asked to be put on a mailing list when and if a lefty would be available. A year later Carl contacted Kurt again around Christmas time 2010 and again Kurt told him no lefty. Then a few years ago Carl, another lefty contacted Kurt about a lefty and of course Kurt told him a lefty was in the planning stage. After several versions and countless hours Kurt had put the idea away. So one day Kurt and his son Kolton sat down and tried to figure out how to build it left handed.
